Many years ago when I was a young
mother of five children, four boys and one little girl, I
was searching for the perfect cloth doll to make for my only
daughter. When I could not find that cloth doll pattern, I
decided to design my own.
One night as I was bathing my
children, I realized my doll pattern was right in front of
me. I just needed to duplicate my children. After many
hours, days, dozens of sketches and discarded cloth doll
body parts, my perfect doll was starting to emerge. Dinky
Baby was born oh so many years ago in 1978.
Dinky Babies are my own original
cloth doll pattern design. I spent many long hours and late
nights perfecting my first doll pattern designs. With the
inspiration from my own children my first Dinky Baby was
born.
It is my desire to design easy to
make cloth doll patterns to meet my standards and yours. I
sincerely hope that you have as much fun making your Dinky
Baby as I have had in its design.
You can make your own Dinky Baby with
one of the many patterns I offer and create a memory. You
will never be bored with so many patterns to choose from and
new ones always being offered. My cloth doll patterns are
easy to make and once you master one, you can make any Dinky
Baby pattern I offer.
