This is done by laying a piece of chalk on its side on the surface of the chalk cloth and rubbing it all over - side to side and top to bottom. Then repeat this process again. This is a set of 5 real ultra preemie diapers. This size is actually used in micro-preemie (1.5 lbs or smaller) premature babies. They are perfect to use with Teenee Preeemee and the 8 inch Original Dinky Baby or any other small doll. These are some of the smallest real diapers that they make. Just like on real very small babies, if needed, the diapers can be adjusted to fit your doll by folding and making a crease in the front and fastening with tabs.
