This is the January 2011 Pattern of the Month, the “Mini Moses Basket”. I designed this basket to be a place for the Dinky Baby miniature babies to sleep. This could also be used for other things, such as a business card holder or as a baby shower favor or decoration. Use your imagination.

This basket is made from four different fabrics to add color and interest. Two colorful fabric bows on each end of the basket are accented with two small yoyos. A removable mattress adds color and dimension to this simple to make basket.

Product: 144 - March 2011 Pattern of the Month"baby booh" 4 inch baby

This is the March 2011 “Pattern of the Month”, baby booh (pronounced boo). I designed this doll to be quick and easy to make. This baby can be made for a quick little gift, baby shower favors a fun pin, so many uses. Use your imagination.

This dolls body is made from craft velour and is wrapped in a small piece of fleece that is cut in a special way and trimmed in a blanket stitch. A piece of embroidery floss ties the blanket securely to the baby. A small little curl sewn to her head makes her look so cute.

This is the April 2011 “Pattern of the Month”, Ruffle Bum Panties. This is a cute little pair of panties made of colorful fabric and then accented with three colorful ruffles that encircle the panties front to back.

These panties are super quick to make with the simple techniques you will be shown. A surger is necessary, but you could just use a tight zig zag stitch if you do not have a serger. I designed these little panties to fit Dinky Babies from 14 inches to 24 inches

This is the May 2011 “Pattern of the Month”, the May Day Bonnet. I designed this bonnet to fit the 13 inch New Born Baby or the 14 inch Dinky Baby.
This little easy to make bonnet uses three colorful fabrics to make it a fun and pretty project.
A braid surrounds the base of the bonnet and ends in a cascade down the back to add fun and lots of interest. Yoyos decorate the front and back along with fun buttons of your choice.

Product: 152 - July 2011 Pattern of the Month "Rag Doll Quilt”

This is the July 2011 Pattern of the Month, “Rag Doll Quilt”. This is the perfect size little quilt for all your Dinky Babies. It measures approximately 19 inches by 19 inches and will keep your Dinky Baby snuggly and warm. So pretty with almost any flannel fabric you choose. This is a great way to use up scraps. You could also make this from minkee fabric. This little quilt is a great little blanket for real babies to carry around as a snuggly. Dolls show in the photo are not included. They are pattern #003.

Product: 154 - Aug 2011 Pattern of the Month "Desert Flowers”

This is the April 2011 “Pattern of the Month”, Desert Flowers. These flowers are the perfect accent for purses, totes, children’s clothing, hair accents, gifts or just to use as a pin. The large flower is just 2 inches and three inches with the leaves. The smaller flowers are about 1 1/2 inches. You can make these flowers larger if you like.
 

These flowers are quick to make with the simple techniques you will be shown. A serger is necessary, but you could just use a tight zig zag stitch if you do not have a serger.  I designed these little flowers because I thought of so many ways that I wanted to use them, I am sure you can come ups with your own ideas. This little Christmas sock is just 3 ½ inches long. It makes a cute little holiday package decoration, a tree ornament, a place to put Christmas dollars or a great way to present a mini doll as a Christmas gift. I am sure you can come up with ideas of your own. This sock was made from bamboo batting, but you could use felt or fleece. With a new granddaughter to inspire me, I have come up with my version of a “knot dress”. This dress will fit the 14 DinkyBaby or the 13 inch Newborn and your real babies. I have incorporated some ideas that I think you will like.

Knot dresses are very popular and I have designed this one just for the 4th of July, but you can use any other fabrics you choose to make a fun summer dress. These dresses also look great over leggings or over a onesie. This dress is very versatile with the ribbon ties in the back that allow for easy fit as well as a unique accent.

This dress is made from strips of a variety of fabrics and sewn together in a simple easy way. You only need to make two button holes to slip the straps through and tie the knots, and you will have a cute little designer dress.

Measurements for both the doll and baby dress will be shown. This is such a simple dress to make and it is oh so cute.

Make a matching hair tie for the final touch, did I say how easy this entire outfit is to make? Have fun and make one for all your favorite little friends and their Dinky Baby dolls.
